According to the CNCA news, from the 1st of April, the Household refrigerators, toasters and stationary cooking ranges will implement the new CCC standards, the new standards will be used for certificating and the new certification will be issued.

These three standards are: GB4706.13-2008-- Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Particular requirements for refrigerating appliances, ice-cream appliances and ice-makers, GB4706.14-2008 --Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Particular requirements for grills, toasters and similar portable cooking appliances, and GB4706.22-2008-- Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Particular requirements for grills, toasters and similar portable cooking appliance. These three standards are equivalent to the corresponding IEC 05-07standards, and these new standards have made some major changes compared to the older version.

 

Due to the increasing exchanges and communication between china and international standards association such as IEC, the speed of national standard to integrate with international standards is increasing. There are more than 50 home appliances standards have been revised in Jan to April 2010, and 10 of them are involved with CCCproducts.
