In order to further regulate the CCC activities, ensure the effectiveness and consistency of certification process, simplifies the process of authenticate, reduce the fee and make the implementation easier. On the 5th of January 2010, CNCA announced the new version (2010) CCC implementation rules for home appliances: CNCA-01C-016: 2010. According to the announcement, the new version will be implementing from the 1st of May 2010, and at the same time it will replace the old CNCA-01C-016: 2007 version.

 

The main differences between two versions are:

1. Specify the certificates are valid for 5 years and the requirement when it’s due.

2. The requirement of cancellation, suspension and revocation requirement is converse with the related rules and regulations.

3. The classification of units is no longer on the basis of product components that affect EMC. The key components are arranged into A/B categories, makes the 60% safety key parts and 40% EMC components into simplified process manage.

4. Specify the requirement of technical manager for the certification

5. Added the requirements of annual sample testing for 5 types of high risk home appliances.

And so on.
