On the 6th of October 2009, Standardization Administration of China (SAC) has published the < National Standard of the P.R.C., Minimum Allowable Values of Water Efficiency and Water Efficiency Grades for Water Closets > (G/TBT/N/CHN/684) in order to regulating the market and saving energy.

Article 4.3 of this standard is mandatory, the remainings are recommended. The content of mandatory item is the requirements for minimum allowable values of water efficiency for water closets.

The proposed date of adoption will be 90 days after circulation by the WTO Secretariat, and this will entry into force 6 months after the adoption.
