On the 6th of October 2009, Standardization Administration of China (SAC) has published the < National Standard of the P.R.C., Minimum Allowable Values of Water Efficiency and Water Efficiency Grades for Faucets > (G/TBT/N/CHN/682) in order to regulating faucet market and saving water.
Articles 4.2 and 4.4 of this standard are mandatory, the remainings are recommended. The contents of mandatory items are the requirements of difference among flow rates and minimum allowable values of water efficiency for faucets.
The proposed date of adoption will be 90 days after circulation by the WTO Secretariat, and this will entry into force 6 months after the adoption.
