CNCA clears the matter corresponding to the new Compulsory certification national standard (2)

Compulsory certification standards GB/T15576-2008 <Low-voltage reactive power compensation assemblies>has been published and will take into force from the 1st of April, 2009. In order to ensure the effective implementation of compulsory certification system, according to the notice of issues relating to the amendments on compulsory certification standards, CNCA published a notice on the matters corresponding to the new standards of certification for Low-voltage reactive power compensation assemblies.
The notification has indicated that from the 1st of April, all certification bodies should implement the new standard for certification and issue the new certificates. All holders of the old version certification should apply for the conversion for new standard certificate after the new standards has implemented and before the next follow-up inspection. Also, appliers should have the laboratory tests based on the new standardizations before obtaining the new certificate. The conversion between old and new standard certification should be complete before 1st of April 2010, all the old certificate will be suspended by the certificate bodies after that. All the conversion work should be completed before the 1st of July,2009, otherwise the old certificate will be revoked.
